The BREACH demo just got a new update!
This version expands the gameplay with new time-based cards, improves balancing, and adds multiple quality-of-life refinements to make each run smoother and more dynamic.

Gameplay
New Aiming System

A crosshair has been added to aim all fired balls with precision.
New Ball Firing Flow

Added a fire-delay system when multiple balls are launched simultaneously (cards can now modify this behaviour).
Removed Normal Mode

The demo now focuses entirely on the core roguelike mode to improve clarity and progression.
Removed Old Level Timer

The restrictive timer system has been removed to create less frustration and more flexibility in each run.
Luck / Bad-RNG Protection

New βforce luckβ mechanic:
If no power-ups drop after destroying many bricks, one will be forced to spawn. -
Same system added for Epic & Legendary cards in the inter-round shop.

Brand-new Cards

NEW β Straight Shot: shoots fired balls straight upward.

NEW β Auto Fire: automatically fires whenever a ball touches the paddle.

NEW β Brick Chance: 5% chance to spawn a ball whenever a brick is destroyed.

NEW β Angle-45 Shot: launches balls at multiple fixed 45Β° angles.

NEW β Risque de la Bombe: 5% chance to trigger an explosion when breaking a brick.

NEW β Uzi: greatly increases firing rate but spreads launched balls more widely.

β 5% chance to spawn your starting round balls on brick destruction. -

New Card Inventory Page
β View all purchased cards from the run & the shop. -
Sound & Music Import System
β Players can now import sounds/music via a JSON file (opening the door to custom ambience packs). -
Shop Rework
β Improved clarity, card rarity weighting, and forced-luck for high-rarity items.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where Auto Destroy Last Brick did not always trigger.

Fixed a crash when this same card triggered while the last brick was already destroyed.

Fixed French accent encoding issues causing typos or crashes.

Various minor fixes to ensure consistency across card effects and power-ups.
